When your son or daughter seeks treatment for substance abuse at Safe Landing, we embrace your entire family as our own. We’re committed to the well-being of your child, of course, but we also care about everyone involved in this lifelong journey. Our family counseling program is integrated from the beginning of your teen’s treatment to ensure everyone is aligned on goals and working toward a healthy future for all.
We believe addiction recovery is a family effort, reliant on love, support and encouragement, especially for teens. Your child’s substance abuse may damage family bonds and lead to frustration, distrust and resentments. Throughout the recovery process, Safe Landing works to help mend family relationships with family counseling. Our certified family therapists are trained to address concerns and foster healthy relationships, re-establishing your parent-child relationship and building a strong network of support for your child’s addiction-free future.
In addition to helping your teen beat their addiction, we provide them with real skills for the real world they will face after completing rehab. In addition to job skills training, we can assist them with instruction on job interview skills, resume building, networking and computer literacy. We ensure your teen is surrounded by supportive people during their recovery and connect them with potential employers, mentors, guidance counselors and others.

If your teen has unsuccessfully tried to quit smoking, we have a program that can help them beat their addiction to nicotine. Most nicotine replacement therapies on the market – patches, gums, nasal sprays – were created for adults and may not be appropriate for teens. But our team of clinicians can set and monitor your teen’s dosage of these materials to ensure they can stop smoking safely. It’s important to address your teen’s smoking problem early – studies have shown that the damage caused by smoking as a teen can have a greater impact on a person’s health than it would later in life.
