At Safe Landing, we understand that addiction impacts teens differently than it does adults. In fact, teens’ drug and alcohol abuse is often a means of coping with physical and/or emotional trauma, social and family issues, and unaddressed mental health problems.
That’s why the behavioral health team at Safe Landing gets to know your teen and creates an individual recovery plan tailored to their specific situation, history and needs. Our low client-to-staff ratio of 1:3 enables us to give each teen the dedicated attention they deserve. Along the way, we offer a judgment-free space for self-expression and support, from detox to aftercare.
Above all, our team is dedicated to changing the lives of our youth and helping them move forward in realizing their full potential. Behind all that we do is our earnest belief that your teen’s past doesn’t have to dictate their future.
Our treatment staff works diligently to correct negative self-image, build confidence and self-esteem, and provide a safe place to address other underlying causes of teen addiction. We believe it’s vital that parents (or legal guardians) be kept informed and involved at each level of care, helping to heal and promote support as a family unit.
By definition, addiction is isolating. That’s why, at Safe Landing, we facilitate opportunities for bonding and unity — delving into interpersonal relationships, resolving conflict, respecting personal boundaries and promoting healing together.
